Aedan's Bio & Tutoring Experience

As an educator, my role is to create a nurturing and educationally stimulating environment. Students need to have access to multiple kinds of tools to help them learn and to be able a challenge their abilities. To assist my student I will look to the content standards, student ability/needs in order to make fitting lessons. Students need visual, auditory, and hands on activities to enhance the lesson to assist each kind of learner.

For my students, I will be understanding to the different needs of each student, and strive to help them be their personal best. I will recognize and take on challenges that my students present to me. My critiques in corrections will be done in a constructive, motivational and positive way.

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience with all ages K-8th grade.

I have worked at various schools and programs with special needs students as well the general population and Talented and Gifted students.

40+ hours of training Autistic students using ABA

100+hours of training for dsylexic learners and other reading difficulties

40+ training hours for students with mental disabilities due to physical injury/birth defect
