I have a talent for establishing rapport with students and while some may be resistant at first, they become receptive, partly because I take an interest in who they are, what their goals are, and gear my tutoring sessions toward that. I am not intimidating and while I challenge students to become disciplined about doing homework and assignments I'm not unreasonable in my expectations.
