Angie's Bio & Tutoring Experience

Working with and helping children who have special needs or learning disabilities has always been a passion of mine. I believe having patience, an understanding of how a child learns and building relationships is what fosters a great learner. I have over 10 years experience of elementary level classroom experience working with children who have special needs. I have taught children who have been diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Autism (Spectrum), ED, Behavioral and other learning/physical disabilities. I have been one-on -one with several students for several years. I have been trained in STAR, Guided Reading and Viconic Language as well as many other programs. Learning should be fun, or we would never want to do it, right?!
