Anita's Bio & Tutoring Experience

For the past 14 years, I have taught math, economics, and statistics on the grade school through college level. My main goal is to help students attain the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to solve problems and become independent thinkers. I have always worked diligently to meet the teaching standards and to broaden and deepen my student’s knowledge, understanding, and skills.  I believe an educator must move beyond the traditional model of schooling to a point at which students are provided the features needed to become engaged and invested in learning. Without engagement, there is no real and lasting learning.
