Anne's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have been involved in many tutoring experiences throughout college. It began with tutoring my roommates on their entry level homework, and ended with me working with an organization called P.A.W.S (post-secondary awareness with success). With P.A.W.S. I was able to work with inner city 4th and 5th graders of Chattanooga, TN. I helped the children with homework as well as, provided information and encouragement about continuing education after high school. I was inspired by the children to continue working in education and helping others and now I currently educate at an outdoor education center in New York. I am enrolled as a Resident Seasonal Educator and work with people of all ages from school children to adult groups. Here, I facilitate outdoor education classes and help encourage education and pursuing one's passion. I am looking forward to implementing everything I will have learned from this experience back in when I return this December.

I graduated high school from a private college preparatory school called The Webb School. From there, I continued my education at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. There I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a focus in Sociology and Anthropology.
