Benita's Bio & Tutoring Experience

My job is to teach Coordinate Algebra, Mathematics I, Mathematics I Support, Mathematics II, and
Mathematics II Support in a standards based classroom; where the teacher facilitates the learning to the
students and the students produce their knowledge of the content and standard through performance task,
activities, cooperative learning, and more as a whole group instead of as an individual. I also tutor student
in the morning before school and after school. As a math teacher I have been AVID trained and I have the
opportunity of incorporating AVID strategies throughout Mathematics
