Bethany's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I was an America Reads tutor for 3 1/2 years. I was in the elementary schools working closely with the teachers to help their students succeed. I worked in the classroom and did pull out sessions with individuals to strengthen a specific area. I also have done summer tutoring at the local library to help the students gain confidence, strengthen skills, and prepare them for the next school year. I believe in teaching to the way the student learns whether its kinesthetic, auditory, or visual.
