I have worked with children for the last ten years in many different settings. In high school, I was a "PAL" (peer assistance and leadership) and I would go to the local elementary schools and help kids who were having trouble in their classes. I would listen to whatever may be on their mind, and help and/or tutor on homework. Also, with babysitting jobs over the years, I have helped kids with their projects, homework, and social skills. I have a creative mind, so I know how it can feel to be "different", or struggle with certain "basic" courses. I tend to really connect with kids who are very creative and let their minds wander very easily.
