Bonnie 's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a retired Title I reading and math teacher with a masters degree in reading. I've taught small groups or individuals for 35 years in grades one through six. My focus has been using research based programs to teach phonics in the primary grades and to remediate in the intermediate grades. Comprehension may or may not be a part of the instruction, depending on the child's needs. I believe writing instruction is often a necessary component of language arts remediation.
