Carol 's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am presently tutoring a freshman at Cumberland County College, Vineland, NJ in the subject of English.
I have been tutoring since 2007 with elementary students in the fields primarily of reading and writing. Every one of my students always gains more confidence in themselves and does well in their studies. I am a very creative, persistent, patient, encouraging and motivational teacher.

In 2011-2012 I worked as a teacher's assistant for various Head Starts and preschools.

I am presently a children's leader for children's church at Abundant Living Church, Williamstown, NJ.

I have also been a leader in various bible study programs for children in classes kindergarten to second grade. These bible study programs are designed for the leader to work with children individually during part of the class.

I also have been a caregiver since 2010. Sometimes in additon to taking care of children or playing with them, I would work with children on their ABC's colors and numbers. I even assisted a mother home -school three children in elementary and middle-school.

I may have an opportunity in the near future to offer free tutoring for students at Cumberland County College. I am a member of the national honor society Phi Theta Kappa at Cumberland County College.

I believe that all children can learn, and can offer themselves and their talents and gifts to our society. I also took a six week course on Empowering Students with Disabilities at Cumberland County College.
