Carolyn's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a Literacy Specialist for Greece CSD and have been teaching in Elementary schools for 8 years. Besides having experience as a Literacy Specialist and Literacy Coach, I have also taught 2nd grade in the top school in Wake county for 5 years where I earned the award of Teacher of the Year. I have a passion for helping struggling readers but am experienced and comfortable to tutor in the areas of reading, writing, and math for grades 1-6. I consider myself warm and friendly but hold firm and high expectations for students. I am happy to discuss student progress and tutoring plan before/after each session.
