Cassia's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a Missouri state-certified elementary teacher (grades 1-6). I graduated from Missouri State University in December of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Educaton degree. I have worked part-time for an early childhood educational facility for the last four years. Throughout my time in college I tutored a diverse group of children ages three to thirteen in all subject areas and just started tutoring two of my coworkers on basic computer usage. Education is my passion and I believe that every child deserves the right to a quality learning experience. I love watching someone have that lightbulb moment when they finally get a concept that they've been struggling with. My key strengths in teaching are a willingness to approach material in various ways to ensure engagement, differentiation, and an endless supply of patience.
