I am passionate about teaching and mentoring, and am good at looking at a student and figuring out not only why they are not understanding something, but how to approach it in a different way. I have worked with toddlers through high school age students from a variety of backgrounds, so I am used to adapting to different learning styles and levels of understanding.

I attended University of New Mexico and University of Minnesota, and have deferred my studies for a few years. My main courses of study were Theater, Education and Library Science. I also studied French in high school and college and lived in Switzerland for three months while working as an au pair.
