Chris's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I entered college with a passion for music, and that expanded into a passion for learning. These passions, channeled through an excellent teacher education program, transformed into skills that I use to encourage others, adults and students alike, to love learning. At my first job, I taught K-12 in Eastern Ohio in religion and music courses, but I often helped students in many other areas besides music (personal finance, English, some sciences). I always challenged students taking my classes to go beyond what the directions say and take in the meaning of what they're doing. At the same time, I try to embody the philosophy of 'meeting people where they are' in order to create an environment of trust and to obtain the highest level of achievement possible for each student.
