Connie's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I home schooled both my sons for two years, (grades 6th through 8th). They had been recently baptized and we all agreed to be home schooled before entering high school. They wanted a firm foundation in Christ so that they would be ready to go to a public school. Their home school experience helped them not only with their studies, but also making right choices in friends and activities. They both excelled academically and graduated with honors. Our youngest son was valedictorian and DECA winner in the state championship. In my younger years I taught beginner's piano at a music store and had classes ranging from young children to a senior citizens class as well as several private classes. I enjoy teaching and seeing children achieve their goals and the positive effect it has on their attitude toward learning. Our sons are now attending Johnson University with scholarships and awards paying most all their expenses. I would love to talk to you about tutoring your child or children. I can do this online or meet at a public place such as a library in Sevier or Blount County.
