Corrinne's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I have been consistently tutoring for the past four years and have worked with a wide range of ages. I got my start tutoring in high school as a part of the National Honor Society primarily tutoring in history and working with a specific classmate on test prep for the AP United States history exam. Currently I work primarily with kindergarteners and first through fifth graders helping them with their homework and attempting to course correct the ones who have fallen behind in school.
As a tutor I do my best to tailor my teaching to the student I am working with and to meet them where they are at. This has been especially important in my work at a headstart as it is important that we do our best to keep the children on track and course correct the ones who have fallen behind. Additionally, I do my best to communicate with the parents as well as the student in order to understand their goals and what they are hoping to achieve from my tutoring.
