Deirdre's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I'm currently an Interrelated elementary school teacher. I've been tutoring students from grades K-5 for the past 6 years. I love working with struggling students and seeing the progression in their academic learning over time. There should be as many opportunities as possible to make learning enjoyable. I feel that most students are visual learners and I use a variety of strategies to ensure that my students are learning the material being taught. (i.e. academic games, flashcards).
