Elizabeth's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I have been trained as a literacy volunteer and have also worked as a mentor and mentor manager for children, primarily in elementary school environments. I have served as a junior achievement teacher, scout leader, and volunteer with schools and children's agencies. I have experience with children with learning delays, as well as children who require assistance as English may be their second language. I pride myself on my reading, writing, spelling and grammar skills, and write for a living at the current time. I never talk down to a child and work with them at their own speed and within their own realm of concentration and ability.
I have also been background-screened through every conceivable level of local, state and federal agencies and was allowed unlimited and unsupervised tutoring and meetings with children by the Sarasota County Schools.
