Gene's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a recent retiree with the North Carolina public schools. My experience was that of a classroom teacher for thirty years in grades 5 - 12. More recently, I have taught an additional three years in private education. I was a graduate teaching assistant while working on my masters degree at Appalachian State University. My teaching assignment was freshman level music theory. My experiences with tutoring have included primarily private lessons with brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments.
