I have 14 years experience as a Special Education teacher. With this experience I have the patience, creativity and flexibility to work with students to help make their educational process a successful one. I have taught reading, English, Biology I, Pre-Algebra and Algebra I. I am great at helping the student find the best possible way for them to learn in the area they are struggling with. I know how to modify the curriculum for them and also teach them how to modify it for themselves. I believe in teaching them how to advocate for themselves and have no problem interacting with the parent(s) to help propel the student forward in their learning process.
