Heather's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I am a mom of 4 (yes 4), ranging in ages from 5 to 13. I consider myself to be "born to teach," and I'm actually pretty good at it. Unfortunately, no one told my kids. My oldest thinks that because he is 13, he knows more than me. Never mind the fact that I'm a lot older than him. I also went back to school about 6 years ago, and made the Deans list every single semester. I also was inducted into the National Honors Society, Alpha Sigma Lambda. Not to mention being recognized by the "Who's Who in American Colleges." Even though I don't "feel" smart all the time, it's definitely nice to be rewarded for all your hard work. But that doesn't mean that my son doesn't know mire than me. Lol. Anyway, I've been doing tutoring on the side and substitute teaching at my kids school, so I feel that I know enough to tutor online if given the chance. (-: Since I was tutored when u was a kid, I know how frustrating it can be when everyone else seems to "get it" but you. On the other hand, I also know how it feels when that moment comes and the lightbulb above your head shines bright! Lol. If given the opportunity, I want to help students "get their lightbulbs working!"

Senior at the University of Mobile. On track to graduate next spring with a degree in Early and Elementary Education. I have a 3.99 GPA, and multiple Honors. I love teaching, but if I had to pick two favorite subjects. It would be English and History/Social Studies.
