Jeanette's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I've been a tutor for the past three years. I have helped middle school students better understand Science, Pre-Algebra, and English Grammar. I have also helped high school students better understand Chemistry, Algebra, Geometry, and Writing. In my past experiences, I've helped multiple students obtain A's or B's in the subject they have a hard time understanding. My tutoring method is to have them explain what they already know on the subject and work from there. Whether it is correcting mistakes or advancing the knowledge they already know, depends on the knowledge they display to me. It is my passion to help students succeed and further their education.

I am currently a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Prescott. I graduate in May 2016. My major is Global Security and Intelligence Studies. With this degree, writing is a skill that is acquired since freshman year. At Embry-Riddle, I've taken the following classes: Statistics, Algebra, two Writing Composition Classes, Chinese, Biology, US History, World History etc. In high school, I've taken AP Chemistry and Geometry.
