Jessica's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I was a Health Teacher in New York State for nine years. I am currently a student at a local college. I have made the difficult decision to leave the public school system, and return to school to pursue a career in nursing and hopefully teach nursing classes. I have no plans to ever end my career in teaching.

My experience with students ranges from kindergarten through grade twelve. The majority of my experience has been working with high school students teaching a variety of courses for both high school and college credit. I have instructed students of all levels with a variety of different learning styles, carefully tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all of my regular education students and those with special needs, ensuring success. Much of my career was spent writing curriculum, working with both the district as well as those who work for the New York State Health Education Department.

I am professional, yet very warm, welcoming and kind. I am confident categorizing myself as an excellent teacher.
