From past experience, I have learned the importance of a teacher being personable, patient and versatile in facilitating the learning of difficult-to-grasp subjects. Listening is also an essential aspect of teaching. It is important to understand the students thought process & style of learning. Asking thought provoking questions or providing supplemental information to help the student obtain an answer further facilitates the understanding of a subject rather than answering their questions for them.
