Jimmy's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a certified secondary teacher who has taught for eight years and has tutored for about that same amount of time. I am most interested in tutoring mathematics. In my tutoring my approach is to explain the concept and then allow the student to work problems on his/her own to get better with the topic at hand. My most recent full-time work experience was at a call center in Starkville, MS. In 2009 I was first hired as a customer service representative. After a seven-month layoff in 2010 I came back and did technical support before being promoted to a Real Time Analyst position in August 2013. When given a chance to extensively tutor online, I resigned form this position in December of 2014.
