John's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a student of a local community college myself and have always enjoyed helping others find fun in learning. Since I was in 5th grade I have been helping people learn and now I am trying to fund for myself more learning. I do not want to try to find a job at some fast food restaurant when I know that I could be helping other children learn with fun so that they enjoy it as much as I. I wish to become a teacher when I complete school and would love to enter my field knowing that I had already started to help others. I plan on using things the students I tutor already enjoy and incorporating them into the learning process to the best of my abilities. From personal experience if one can relate something he/she already enjoys they will better remember it rather than just hearing it in a manner in which bores them. When they are bored of hearing something they shut it out and thus they do not learn it.
