Jordan's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I started out tutoring my senior year of high school, where I tutored a student in intro to computer science a semester after taking it myself. Additionally, the past two summers I have taught week-long classes for 9-10 weeks at iD Tech Camps, where I was a "Lead Instructor" who taught Java, the language taught in AP Computer Science, for ages 13-18, as well as Python and a basic intro to Java for ages 10-13. Most recently, I was a TA for the Intro to VR class at CU Boulder, where I assisted students both undergraduate and graduate with learning to program and debugging VR projects. Outside of school and work, I have obtained the Eagle Scout Award and led one of the five teams that won the Verizon Innovative App Challenge in 2013.

I am currently enrolled at CU Boulder, studying computer science. I am in my fourth year in their concurrent BS/MS program, meaning I will graduate with both my BS and my MS degrees next May. I currently hold a 3.768 GPA.
