Joshua's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I come from a very large family with parents that always emphasized education over everything else. I have siblings and nieces and nephews in occupations that range from: attorneys and army officers to doctors and business mangers. A well rounded education has always been a must for my family. Throughout my high school education I took part in programs to tutor my fellow classmates and through college I continued my interest in tutoring by volunteering at my local high school in the subjects of Math and Science. I am a very easy going recent college graduate that takes the time to know a child and his/her learning preferences. I hold the belief that every child has the ability to increase their cognitive abilities with the right amount of encouragement and teaching.

I am a graduate from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor's in Public Administration with a minor in psychology and an emphasis in biology. It sounds like a weird combination but it has lead to a very well rounded education.
