Jyoti's Bio & Tutoring Experience
At Santa Rosa Community College, I was a tutor for special education teenagers. I taught math, English , art, painting and fiber arts. I also have 20 years teaching experience in public and Waldorf schools. I have been an Artist in Residence in Oregon public schools for 10 years.
Many students can benefit from my teaching style. I like working with children and usually have an easy rapport with children. My ideal students are kindergarten to elementary and special ed. I am patient, gentle, and incorporate storytelling with my teaching.
