Kathryn's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring other students informally for as long as I can remember. I began tutoring with my elementary school in 4th grade to the kids in lower grades as well as the children in special education. This was the first encounter sparked my interest in education/special education. In high school we did not have a tutoring program but we had a peer mentor program in which I had a group of students that I helped with their studies as well as other aspects of high school. I only wish I would have started tutoring independently sooner.
