Kim's Bio & Tutoring Experience

My name is Kim, and I work in biology and bio-informatics. I have taught classes such as General Ecology, Evolution, and Brain & Behavior to college undergraduates as well as to graduate students. I have tutored students in Biology, Math, Web Design and Programming.

Is your teacher explaining the material in a way that does not work with YOUR way of learning? Maybe you need someone with patience to explain things just a bit slower or more thoroughly than your teacher?

Teachers have a whole class of students and individuals don't always get the attention or the opportunity they need to excel. Let me help you with all of your questions. I will tutor you or your child one on one, taking as much time as needed to allow you grasp the material in a way that will help you achieve your academic goals. I will do that by “tuning in” to your way of learning (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, logical, intuitive, etc). Due to my own challenge dealing with dyslexia, I am keenly aware of the special challenges that require adjustments in learning.
