Krysten's Bio & Tutoring Experience

While I was a junior and senior in high school I got involved in after school program with an elementary near my home and I also did some summer schooling as well for those two consecutive years before I graduated. I have always had a great interest in child care from infants to middle school age, I was a teacher/caregiver at a daycare center I worked for and was responsible for daily lesson plans for 4-5 year old kids and it was actually quit fun to come up with different ways for kids to learn math, reading, and anything else that was in the required curricular. I also would teach the kids a little American Sign Language each day for a little something extra.

I graduated in June 2012 with a GPA of 3.78; from elementary until high school I was placed in AP (advanced placement) classes for English, Science and History. I also have a background experience with special needs children, due to my mom being a well known Speech Pathologist, I had time to spend learning different ways of teaching and dealing with kids with disabilities,yes, but also all the different ways to learn. I saw it just about go for any child special or not and have them see the almost easy, fast and mostly fun ways to learn.
