Kun Wa's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have 3 years online teaching experience under a University. The subjects I have taught includes Calculus, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and elementary mathematics. I have also recently taken the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) and scored a 600 out of 800. Thus, I am competent in both mathematics and verbal which includes a sentence correction section.
I have many past successes. One of the most honorable mention was when I helped a non-native speaker achieve an A in mathematic. He was having trouble understanding his homework because he just started learning English. We worked together on all his subjects daily for a year until he catches up with his classmates.
My Tutoring Methodology is basically to learn with the student. What that means is I would ask questions that lead the learner to find the answer. If the learner hits a dead end, I will teach him/her ways to find the answer. I believe being patient is also a important part of teaching. This is because not everyone learns at the same pace so the teacher must adjust to the learner's needs.
