I tutored elementary, middle, and high school aged students in Tucson, AZ through Sunnyside Unified School District for two years. I tutored in many subjects including mathematics, language arts, study skills, test taking, and time management.
I am passionate about teaching and educating young minds. My goal for tutoring is to help students understand and comprehend their current studies and provide them a boost for what is coming up next academically so that they do not fall behind.
I have experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. I enjoy putting in the extra effort that may come with tutoring students with this background. I taught two years in a self-contained EBD classroom in Tucson, AZ working with students K-5th grade.
