Lianne's Bio & Tutoring Experience

My name is Lianne, and I am an aspiring teacher who will begin my career after I graduate in the Fall of 2016. During my time as an undergraduate student at The Pennsylvania State University, I have managed to maintain 3 jobs, Presidency of various student run organizations, student government, student teaching part-time, all while attending my courses as a full-time student. I believe that with practice, I have mastered great time management so that I could make the most out of my time at school. I have mentored many students at Penn State as well as assisted with student teaching at an Elementary School in my spare time. I believe that my qualifications make me a great candidate to tutor other students and I possess a serious passion for teaching.

I am an Education major who has experience with a semester of pre-student teaching. I have not graduated with my degree yet, but I will be in the Fall of 2016. At this point, I have finished taking all of the required courses to qualify for my degree, however I need to complete one more semester of student teaching before I graduate. In addition to my experience with teaching, I am minoring in education policy and psychology.
