Mackenna's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a Freshman at the University of Oregon enrolled in the college scholars program. I hope to one day get my PhD and become a professor at a respectable institution. In high school, I was valedictorian of my class and a pass time I was very passionate about was tutoring. I volunteered my time 3-4 days a week after school through our tutoring programs my final three years there. I engaged with many different people of all different levels during this time. I believe what makes my tutoring style so effective is my ability to adapt to the person I'm working with, engage them into the subject, and explain concepts in multiple ways.
I am very hardworking, have great conflict resolution skills, and believe I am capable of making this tutoring experience great for everybody involved.
