Madeleine's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I am a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I have a background in English, Spanish, French, Science, and Social Studies.

I have volunteered as a teaching assistant/tutor with students in the past in an English as a second language classroom for 7th and 8th graders. I have also worked as a teacher's assistant at a summer program for 2 to 8 year olds.

I graduated from the International School of Geneva in Geneva, Switzerland with an International Baccalaureate in 2011. For the International Baccalaureate program I took English, biology, and geography at the higher level and French, Spanish, and mathematics at the standard level.

I will graduate from the University of British Columbia at the end of May 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During my time at University I have taken a variety of classes including biology, nutrition, psychology, French, Spanish, and geography.

Having learned French at a young age and being raised in a bilingual community, I have a firm understanding of the challenges involved in learning languages but have also developed many study skills and techniques to overcome these challenges.
