Mark's Bio & Tutoring Experience
Education has always been my calling, and my greatest motivator. Throughout my graduate and undergraduate studies (approximately 7 years or so), I have tutored. Teaching is a passion. I'm working towards a professional credential, but for now I enjoy refining my acumen by helping students who benefit from a little extra quality attention in their studies. No subject is off-limits; I'm competent in basic Math, Algebra, Writing & Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Social Studies, World History, British & American Lit, Civics, Symbolic Logic, Philosophy, Hawaiiana, French, and SAT prep. Additionally, I'm also a great copy-editor and proof-reader for essays, term papers, and dissertation chapters. My tutoring style is Socratic, and my professional manner is characterized by patience and focus. I'm firm, but not intimidating. And, I'm eager to help a student in any way I can.
