Matthew's Bio & Tutoring Experience

Philosophy nurtures a love of knowledge unlike any other. For me, there is no greater joy than teaching others--regardless of whether it is in a classroom setting or in a private tutoring setting.

I have had to tutor a few students in a multitude of disciplines. Each time, I seek to highlight alternative learning methods that might help them better than merely trying to cram and memorize. Often, a different approach helps to give the student the tools that they need to succeed.

I am one month away from graduating with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy. I rarely score under an A or high B in my classes, with a focus on excellent writing in each course, regardless of subject. Once I graduate, I am moving on to grad school to eventually obtain a PhD in Philosophy.
