Michael's Bio & Tutoring Experience

Having worked in academia for 5+ years as I have come to see education as a way to open oneself to new and exciting experiences in life. At Transylvania University I tutored freshman and sophomore level science classes (mostly Biology, Chemistry, and German) as a way to dedicate some of my undergraduate career to teaching.
In my Biology Graduate studies at Murray State University I was a Teaching Assistant for the Genetics Course, and Molecular Genetics course. I held open office hours daily and would encourage students to seek extra help if they were struggling with any of their courses that were science related, not just Biology.
I am a current UofL employee working in science, but have recently rediscovered my love for the German language, math, and other branches of core science.
I am easy to relate to, friendly, and can find a way to relate course material to any student of any age with simple analogies.
