Neil's Bio & Tutoring Experience
Hello, My name is Neil Jacobson, I am a graduate student who focuses on Educational Psychology. I have dedicated myself to research into understanding how individuals acquire knowledge and how it can be facilitated via different teaching techniques and visualizations. I aim to teach at the university level and already have experience as an instructor for an undergraduate Writing for Psychology course. Furthermore, I have acted as a teaching assistant for several college courses, as well as serving as a tutor for psychology courses, both upper and lower division. I thoroughly enjoy helping a student acquire knowledge, and understand that there is not one approach to learning, but that every student is different. I embrace this facet of education, for my ability to teach is directly tied to my ability to learn new ways of thinking and explaining.
