Nicholas's Bio & Tutoring Experience
I have tutored in the high-school and college settings for the past three years, at the professional (as a job) and private levels.
I prefer to apply the Socratic method to teaching and tutoring, allowing the student to raise their own questions and express their difficulties with a certain subject before just diving into course material. I believe that helping the student problem-solve and answer questions on their own is a more rewarding experience.
My chief tutoring fields are Philosophy, English, and History. However, I also have much experience with computers (both Mac and Windows) and music.
