While I have never had an official tutoring job before, while I was in high school I frequently spent time before, after, and during school helping other classmates and younger students understand the material they were learning in class. Many of my friends and peers would come to me for help as they knew I paid attention and knew the information. I'm a very driven and motivated learner as well as teacher and graduating in the top 5% of my class with straight A's throughout high school as well as receiving a 34 on the ACT has gained the attention of my peers who often need some extra help.
