I am a Computer Science major at the University of Akron. I have a strong back ground in mathematics, but that wasn't always the case. I used to hate mathematics, until I found the right teacher I couldn't figure out simple fractions. But once I got the personalized attention that I needed, and someone who could patiently help me learn, Mathematics soon became my favourite subject. When I tutor students I try to remember that teacher who helped me love mathematics, and I strive to teach students with the same patience and personalized pace.
