Rachel's Bio & Tutoring Experience

I have never been an "official" tutor, however I did provide additional help and direction to fellow students in several math courses throughout college. I live by the philosophy set out by Albert Einstein in his quote, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid". Sometimes, having academic material presented in a unique way can make a world of difference in comprehension.

I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I began my college career working towards a mechanical engineering degree; however, I found my true passion to be within cognitive psychology. Since I had taken so many math courses I chose to complete a minor in mathematics. I will only be available for a few months because I start working towards my PhD in cognitive neuroscience fall 2015.
