Ruthanne's Bio & Tutoring Experience

School is something in which I have always excelled and enjoyed, most exceptionally in math. As a college freshman, I am currently in Differential Equations, and I have a great love for Algebra and Calculus.

I have unofficially tutored many friends over the years, most frequently in math. For example, last year I helped a friend with her Algebra II homework and she told me that I explained it to her better than her teacher; as someone who loves helping people and loves math, I would like to teach other struggling students as well. I want every student to be able to genuinely understand the material they are learning, rather than just going through the motions; I believe this is the most important step to success.

I am currently studying Nursing at the University of Akron, and I previously graduated Ellet High School as class valedictorian with a 4.15 cumulative GPA. I dedicated myself to challenging classes such as AP US History, AP Literature, AP Chemistry and AP Calculus.
