Savannah's Bio & Tutoring Experience
As an undergraduate at Belmont University, I found a passion for Spanish language and, soon after, for tutoring. I began tutoring other students for credit my third year of college, and professionally immediately after I graduated with Bachelors' degrees in Music Business and Spanish. For two years, I worked in non-profit tutoring kindergarten through high school in Spanish and English, and through sixth grade in Math, Social Sciences, Science and History. During this same time, I taught Adult Literacy and English to immigrants. These experiences were so rewarding that I decided to go back to school. I have the past spent four years studying Spanish at Florida State University and teaching Spanish classes at the university level. I have a Master's in Spanish and two years coursework towards my Ph.D. in Spanish.
