I am a certified teacher in the State of Colorado. I have 30 years of classroom teaching experience, and have independently tutored many students over the years. I am most qualified to tutor students in grades 3-7. My preference is tutoring in either mathematics or reading, but I would also consider other areas such as writing. I am also qualified in Special Education and have a small amount of experience working with students with moderate special needs.

I have a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University with an emphasis in Special Education. My Bachelor's Degree is in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics. I have been trained in the Spalding/Riggs method for phonics instruction. I have also been trained in Orton Gillingham.
